I play with fire!
At my torch, I shape hot glass into a unique line of beads for my original artisan jewelry. Blown hollow beads, hand shaped disks, curved beads and long bi-cones are my specialty. I draw inspiration from the nature of glass itself. It can be transparent, opaque, shiny, matte, textured, smooth, layered, simple, complex, colorful, colorless and so on. I enjoy playing these various characteristics against one another in my jewelry. It is endlessly fascinating and challenging!
I work with Italian soda lime glass and various specialty glasses. My jewelry has a minimalist, organic feel. It is simple, yet powerful; sophisticated and fun! Enjoy!
